Michigan Mounts Comeback Downs Huskers 81 to 75

Nebraska had Cinderella’s slippers on for the first half of the game against Michigan before the Wolverines made a ten zero run in the third quarter.

The Wolverines bolted out to a 58 to 52 lead after three and maintained the lead till the final buzzer.

Both teams had big game performances with Sophomore Amy Dilk from Carmel, Indiana leading  the way for Michigan with 22 points, six assists and a pair of blocks, Naz Hillmon piled in 20 points, seven blocks, five assists and seven rebounds.

Adding support were Hailey Brown with 13 points and Izabel Varejao with 12 points.

Zionsville, Indiana freshman Maddie Nolan added nine for the Wolverines.

Nebraska was led by DeKalb High Schools Leigha Brown with 22 points and six assists, Isabelle Bourne with 16 and Kate Cain with twelve and Sam Haiby with 10.

Michigan moves on to play second seeded Northwestern.
