Indianapolis Bishop Chatard provided all the arsenal they would need in the first half as they opened up a 21 to 3 halftime lead.
Chatard would go on and claim their fourteenth state championship in 16 appearances at the state level.
Trojan 5’10 Senior Daylen Taylor would open up the scoring with a two yard run and a George Forsee extra point to put them up seven to nothing.

The Patriots only score would come from a 26 yard field goal from Ethan Hill to narrow the Trojan lead to seven to three.
Daylen Taylor would be the story of the game as he scored twice more in the 2nd quarter with a five and a 55 yard run.
6′ Senior Patrick Mastrian would pick a pass and travel 47 yards into the end zone for a unsurmountable lead at 28 to 3 before a late touchdown when 5’11 Senior Kyle Cheek completed a scoring pass to 6’3, Junior Thomas Coleman from eight yards to make the final margin 34 to 3.

Bishop Chatard was led by Taylor’s 22 rushes for 174 yards, Derion Gilbert’s 10 rushes for 58 yards, Kyle Cheek’s seven of ten passing for 69 yards.
