All Big Ten games to be televised live for 19th consecutive season

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten announced the start times and television designations for the 2025-26 men’s basketball conference schedule on Tuesday, which includes all 180 contests set to be televised nationally. The conference also revealed tip times and network assignments for select non-conference games.
The Big Ten Conference season will begin with three games on Tuesday, Dec. 2, with a total of 18 conference games being played between Dec. 2-13 before conference play breaks until 2026. Following the holiday break, Big Ten action will resume on Friday, Jan. 2 with three games.
In addition to broadcast platforms CBS and FOX, the Big Ten Network (BTN) and FS1 will continue to carry games on cable networks. NBCUniversal’s direct-to-consumer platform, Peacock, will also carry Big Ten games live.
Peacock will host the first game of the conference slate on Tuesday, Dec. 2, as Michigan State welcomes Iowa to the Breslin Center for a 7 p.m. ET tipoff.
FS1 will also air a pair of games on Tuesday, Dec. 2 as Purdue visits Rutgers at 8 p.m. ET, followed by USC at Oregon at 10 p.m. ET. FOX and FS1 will air 81 games throughout the season, including 21 games on the FOX broadcast network, 59 games on FS1 and one network designation to be announced at a later date.
BTN will open its conference schedule with a tripleheader on Wednesday, Dec. 3, as Indiana visits Minnesota at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Northwestern at Wisconsin at 9 p.m. ET, and UCLA traveling north to Washington at 11 p.m. ET.
CBS Sports will present a total of 13 regular season Big Ten games on CBS and Paramount+, including its first conference match-up of the season on Jan. 10 as Wisconsin visits Michigan.
Conference play will build up to the 2026 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, set for March 10-15, 2026, at the United Center in Chicago, marking the first Big Ten Tournament to feature an 18-team field.
The tournament will open on Tuesday, March 10 with a pair of games featuring the number 15-18 seeds aired on Peacock. Wednesday’s schedule will include four contests, as Tuesday’s winners will join seeds 9-14 in second round action. Peacock and BTN will split Wednesday’s games, with the early session airing on Peacock and the evening games on BTN.
Seeds 5-8 will begin tournament play on Thursday, with the top four seeds slated to open their postseasons in Friday’s quarterfinal round following their double byes. Thursday’s four third round contests and Friday’s quarterfinals will also air on BTN.
The semifinal contests are scheduled for Saturday, with a champion crowned following Sunday’s title game. For the 29th consecutive year, CBS Sports will broadcast the semifinals and championship game with those games also streaming live on Paramount+.
All BTN, FOX, and FS1 on-air games will also be streamed nationwide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports App. CBS Sports’ broadcast coverage will be available to stream live on Paramount+. Games broadcast on Peacock will be available exclusively on the platform.
