Last night, October 16, 2025, saw action in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the B1G Ten and Mountain
West.
In Atlantic Coast Conference action, Excel H Sports #2 Miami of Florida Hurricanes, now 5-1 overall and 1-1 in conference fell to Jeff Brohm’s Louisville Cardinals 24 to 21. Louisville moves to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in conference.
Cardinal QB Miller Moss connected on 23 of 37 passes for 248 yards and two scores while RB Isaac Brown toted the ball 15 times for 113 yards and WR Chris Bell caught nine receptions for 136 yards and two scores of his own.
Hurricane QB Carson Beck threw for 271 yards but threw four interceptions.
Louisville held Miami to under 70 yards of rushing for the contest.
In B1G Ten action, The Golden Gophers under Head Coach P J Fleck dominated Nebraska at home 24 to 6 to move to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the B1G Ten while dropping the Excel H Sports #26 Nebraska Cornhuskers to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in conference.
Gopher QB Drake Lindsay threw 20 times completing 16 of those for 153 yards and a score while RB Darius Taylor rushed for 148 yards.
The Gophers sacked Husker QB Dylan Raiola nine times in the contest.
Utah State, improved to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in Mountain West action while downing San Jose State 2-5 overall and 1-2 in MW play.

Utah State sealed the game on a Tanner Rinker field goal, part of his three for three efforts in the Aggies 30 to 25 win on homecoming weekend.
Aggie QB Bryson Barnes went 22 of 31 in the passing game for over 300 yards and a score.
WR Anthony Garcia caught three passes for 121 yards and fellow receiver Braden Pegan caught seven more passes for over 90 yards.
San Jose State Spartan QB Walker Eget threw for over 300 yards with his RB Steve Chavez-Soto rushing for more than 100 yards and receivers Leland Smith and Kyri Shoels each totaling more than 100 yards in reception yardage.
The nightcap saw two ACC rivals do battle in Berkley as the Cal Bears topped North Carolina 21 to 18.
UNC closed the gap in the final stanza by outscoring the Bears 8 to 0.
Cal QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele threw for 209 yards while teammates Kendrick Raphael rushed for over 80 yards and WR Jacob DeJesus brought in 13 passes for over 100 yards.
