Player of the Week

RB – Kewan Lacy

Ole Miss

Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy turned in a dominant performance against Florida, powering the Rebels’ offense with one of the most impressive rushing displays of the weekend. Lacy carried the ball 31 times for 224 yards and three touchdowns, consistently breaking tackles and creating explosive plays that kept the Gators’ defense on its heels. His workhorse effort controlled the tempo from start to finish and proved to be the driving force behind Ole Miss’ victory. Lacy’s toughness, vision, and ability to take over a game earn him Maxwell Player of the Week honors.

Player of the Week

LB – Kip Lewis

Oklahoma

Kip Lewis delivered a standout defensive performance in Oklahoma’s upset win over Alabama, anchoring a unit that stole the spotlight in Tuscaloosa. Lewis was everywhere on the field Saturday, finishing with seven tackles and two sacks as the Sooners stunned the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide 23-21. His relentless pressure on Alabama’s backfield helped set the tone for a defense that forced three turnovers, converting them into 17 points. Beyond the stat sheet, his presence was felt in the way he disrupted Alabama’s rhythm, forcing hurried throws and limiting their ability to sustain drives. In a hostile environment where Alabama had won 17 straight home games, Lewis’s performance embodied Oklahoma’s resilience and was instrumental in snapping the Tide’s home winning streak thus keeping the Sooners playoff aspirations alive.
