Wolverines’ Naz Hillmon, Golden Gophers’ Jasmine Powell and Badgers’ Sydney Hilliard are this week’s honorees

 

Player of the Week

Naz Hillmon, Michigan

F – So. – Cleveland, Ohio – Gilmour Academy – Major: Undeclared

• Named the espnW National Player of the Week on Monday

• Averaged 28.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game with a .667 field-goal percentage and a double-double in two games last week

• Recorded a career-high 30 points and 10 rebounds on 14-of-19 shooting in the Wolverines’ victory over No. 18/19 Iowa on Sunday

• Contributed 27 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a Jan. 30 loss at No. 23 Northwestern

• Earns her first Big Ten Player of the Week award

Big Ten Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Grace Berger, So., G, IND: Logged 15.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg last week in the Hoosiers’ two conference victories, highlighted by a career-best 25 points and 11 rebounds in a Jan. 27 win over Minnesota

Taiye Bello, Sr., F, MINN: Tallied 14.3 ppg and 15.0 rpg. in a 2-1 week for Minnesota, including 19 points and a career-high 22 rebounds in Sunday’s double-overtime win over Rutgers

Lindsey Pulliam, Jr., G, NU: Averaged 25.5 ppg and 6.0 rpg for No. 23 Northwestern in two Big Ten victories last week, including a 32-point performance in a Jan. 30 win over Michigan

Jasmine Powell, Minnesota

G – Detroit, Mich. – Detroit Country Day – Major: Undeclared

• Averaged 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game last week, helping the Golden Gophers to two conference wins in three outings

• Scored a career-high 19 points in Minnesota’s wins over Nebraska and Rutgers, the latter including a 10-for-10 effort at the foul line in a double-overtime victory on Sunday

• Added 15 points in a Jan. 27 loss at No. 20/23 Indiana

• Collects her first Freshman of the Week award

• Averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game with a .520 field-goal percentage as Wisconsin split two conference games last week

• Scored a career-high 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting in an overtime loss at No. 20/23 Indiana on Jan. 30

• Contributed eight points and a career-high 13 rebounds in Sunday’s win at Illinois
