The second seeded Iowa Hawkeyes turned back Indiana 70 to 61 behind the play of the best player in the BiG Ten Megan Gustafson’s 30 points and 19 rebounds.

Iowa moves on to play either Purdue or Rutgers Saturday evening in the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Conference semi-finals.
Iowa led at every stop Friday evening 17-11, 33-27, 46-43 and 70-61.
Gustafson was aided by Hannah Stewart’s nine points and thirteen rebounds, Mackenzie Meyer’s twelve points on four three pointers and Tania Davis’ eight points.

Iowa was led by Kathleen Doyle’s six assists and Doyle provided three key plays a lay up, a three pointer and a steal that basically cemented the victory.
Indiana’s Ali Patberg, a Junior led the scoring with 25 while Louisville, Kentucky’s Grace Berger added 13 and Junior Brenna Wise continued her solid conference tournament play with nine point and ten rebounds.

Indiana finishes the season at 20 wins and twelve losses and now await the NIT invitation.
