DB Xavier Scott
Illinois
Xavier Scott delivered an outstanding performance for Illinois in its game against Kansas on Saturday. He recorded eight solo tackles, forced one fumble, and intercepted two passes. One of the interceptions was returned for a thirty-yard touchdown and drastically swung the momentum of the game in the Fighting Illini’s favor headed into halftime. Scott is the first defensive player to generate three turnovers for his team in a single game this year. Through Scott’s tremendous defensive effort, Illinois defeated Kansas and looks to keep the winning streak alive against Central Michigan this upcoming Saturday. |
