Lakeville, Minnesota’s, 7′ Nolan Winter and Eagan, Minnesota’s 7′. Steven Crowl dominated Butler with their size and shooting prowess in the second game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the Indy Classic 83 to 74.
Winter scored a season-high twenty points and grabbing eight rebounds while Crowl added his season-best 18 points with six boards.
One of the big keys to the game was the Badgers committed only three turnovers for the game and canned twenty-five of their twenty-seven free throws.
Butler turned the ball over only six times.
The Badgers used an eight-point run to end the first half to push the Badgers up by 14 at the break.
Winters’ 20, Crowl’s 18 were aided by Max Klesmit’s eleven points and a eight for eight night at the stripe while John Tonke added eleven points and a seven of seven night at the line.
John Blackwell added ten points while Carter Gilmore adding seven points and Kamari McGee six points.
Pierre Brooks II led the Bulldogs with 23 on seven of thirteen shots and a seven of eight free throw attempts.
Iowa transfer, Patrick McCaffery added 16 on four of seven from the field and five of seven from the line and seven rebounds.
Kolby King came off the Butler bench to score ten while Jahmy Telfort added seven points and seven boards.
