Indiana, Rutgers Earn Weekly Men’s Basketball Honors
Hoosiers’ Juwan Morgan earns Player of the Week award; Scarlet Knights’ Geo Baker named Freshman of the Week
Player of the Week
Juwan Morgan, Indiana
F – Jr. – 6-8 – Waynesville, Mo. – Waynesville
- Scored a career-high 34 points, including the last 12 points of regulation, and grabbed 11 rebounds (tied career high) in Indiana’s win vs. No. 18 Notre Dame
- Went 13-of-17 from the field and notched his third double-double this season
- Made a layup with 13 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime and his dunk with eight seconds left in overtime proved to be the game-winning tally
- He is the first Hoosier to score 30 points since Thomas Bryant scored 31 in a triple overtime win against Penn State last season (Feb. 1, 2017)
- Earns his first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Geo Baker, Rutgers
G – 6-4 – Derry, N.H. – Proctor Academy
- Averaged 14.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds in wins vs. Fordham and No. 15 Seton Hall last week
- Scored in double figures for the 10th time this season in the win vs. Seton Hall
- Rutgers defeated a nationally-ranked team for the first time since topping No. 4 Wisconsin, 67-62, on Jan. 11, 2015
- Leads all Big Ten freshmen in minutes played per game (31.5) and assists per game (3.8)
- Earns his first career Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor

Megan Gustafson, Iowa
F/C – Jr. – Port Wing, Wis. – South Shore
• Registered her nation-leading 11th double-double of the season with 26 points and 10 rebounds in the Hawkeyes’ win at in-state foe Northern Iowa on Sunday
• Connected on 11-of-15 shots from the field en route to her sixth 20-point game of the season
• Helped Iowa improve to 11-1 this season, its best start since 2010-11, when the Hawkeyes opened with a similar 11-1 record
• Earns her fourth career Player of the Week honor and third of the season

Kelsey Mitchell, Ohio State

• Averaged 26.5 points, 7.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game last week while pacing the Buckeyes to victories over Dartmouth and Cincinnati
• Recorded her sixth 30-point game of the season on Sunday in her hometown of Cincinnati, scoring 31 points and adding a career-high nine assists and season-best seven rebounds against the Bearcats
• Collected Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2016 and 2017
• Earns her 10th career Player of the Week honor (second of the season), passing former Minnesota All-American Lindsay Whalen (nine from 2001-04) for fourth in Big Ten history

Katelynn Flaherty, Sr., G, MICH: Averaged 24.0 points per game with a .552 field-goal percentage and .556 three-point percentage last week in Michigan’s wins over North Florida and Fort Wayne
Kenisha Bell, Jr., G, MINN: Scored 26 points in Minnesota’s victory over Cal Poly on Dec. 13, while adding eight assists, six rebounds and four steals
Teniya Page, Jr., G, PSU: Registered a game-high 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting in the Lady Lions’ road win Sunday at in-state rival Pittsburgh

Destiny Pitts, Minnesota
F – Detroit, Mich. – Detroit Country Day
• Scored 23 points and grabbed four rebounds in the Golden Gophers’ win over Cal Poly on Dec. 13
• Made 7-of-13 three-point field goals, including 3-of-5 in the third quarter when Minnesota scored a season-high 33 points
• Led the Golden Gophers’ season-best 16-of-38 performance from the three-point line, the second-most three-pointers made and attempted by a Big Ten school this season
• Earns her third career Freshman of the Week honor
