Excel H Sports College Football AFTER THE GAME SATURDAY MORNING WRAPUP

Friday, November 21, 2025, saw College Football Action in the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Mountain West.

In the ACC, North Carolina State 6-4, 3-4 ACC Wolfpack defeated the Florida State 5-6, 2-6 ACC, Seminoles 21 to 11 behind RB Daylan “Hollywood” Smothers’ 21 carries for 84 yards and QB C J Bailey 18/25 passing attempts for 152 yards and two touchdowns. WR Justin Joly caught five passes for 66 yards and crossed the goal line once. On defense, Caden Fordham 15 total tackles and Asaad Brown, Jr. 12 total tackles led the way. FSU was led by QB Tommy Castellanos 16 of 32 passing night for 203 yards, one touchdown and eleven carries for 76 yards. WR Duce Dade Robinson was the recipient of four passes for 74 yards and a score while fellow WR Javyan Boggs also caught four passes for 56 yards. On defense, Stefon Thompson led the D with nine total tackles, five solos and 1 1/2 sacks.

Out in the desert Nevada Las Vegas 9-2, 5-2 MW turned back Hawai’i 7-4, 4-3 MW with a 14 to 0 fourth quarter, which extended their 24 to 10 halftime margins. UNV was led by QB Anthony Colandras 21/26 for 253 yards and three scores along with RB Jai’Den Thomas 13 carries for 61 yards. WR Taeshon Lyons caught two passes for 75 yards and a score, which one catch was good for 72 yards. Rebel defense was led by Marsel McDuffie, as he totaled eight tackles on the night.
