Buckeyes Crush Indiana 51 to 10

Ohio State came into Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana with one thing in mind. Win.

And that they did after missing a 35 yard field goal from Junior Blake Haubeil in the first quarter the Buckeyes got on the board when Kennesaw, Georgia Sophomore quarterback, Justin Fields scrambled in from three yards out and after a Haubeil extra point they went up 7 to 0. A lead the Buckeyes would never relinquish  for the remainder of the tilt.

Indiana would score a field goal when McCordsville, Indiana’s , 5th year Senior, Logan Justus put the Hoosiers on the board from 29 yards out.

From that point forward it was a Buckeye rout, as they put 23 points on the board including a safety in the 2nd quarter on the Hoosiers.

Scoring for the Buckeyes were San Marcos, California’s Sophomore Chris Olave was caught in stride as Fields delivered a 37 yard strike to put the Buckeyes up 14 to 3 after another Haubeil extra point.

Moments later IU would be caught when Olave was credited with a safety for a Ohio State 16 to 3 lead.

Graduate Senior K J Hill from Little Rock, Arkansas pulled in a nine yard pass from Fields to push the Buckeyes up 23 to 3 after another Haubeil extra point.

The Buckeyes would not be stopped as LaGrange, Texas Junior running back J K Dobbins scampered 26 yards for yet another score pushing the Ohio State lead to 30 to 3.

Dobbins would rush 22 times for a staggering 194 yards while back up, tail back Master Teague III from Murfreesboro, Tennessee would tally over 100 yards too in 10 carries. Fields would throw for 199 yards from scrimmage for the day.

Indiana scored on a trick play as Largo, Florida Graduate Senior Donovan Hale hit North Salem, Indiana Junior/Sophomore tight end Peyton Hendershot with a 49 yard pass to narrow the Ohio State lead to 20.

Ohio  State would go on and score three more times in the third quarter as the Buckeyes dominated going  away in front of 47, 545 fans.

Dobbins  scored on a Fields throw from 4 yards out, Teague would bolt for another 40 yard score and to cap the Buckeye afternoon, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 5th, Senior Damon Arnette, Jr. picked a pass and went the distance for 96 yards on a interception return.

Ohio State’s pursuit on defense was impeccable and Junior Chase Young, most likely a Top 5 draft choice in the NFL next year, Senior Davon Hamilton, Senior Jashon Cornell, Sophomore Tyler Friday, Indianapolis, Indiana Junior Pete Warner, Senior Malik Harrison and Junior Tuf Borland kept pressure on the Hoosiers from start to finish in this Big Ten game.

Indiana was quarterbacked by Cincinnati, Ohio, Senior/Junior Peyton Ramsey who went 19 of 33 with a one interception for 162 yards. Michael Penix, Jr., who is apparently sidelined with a shoulder injury didn’t participate.
