Purdue Blocks Sparty’s Path

Dominating, that’s the word that you would use when describing the effect Senior A’Rianna Harris had on the entire game against Suzy Merchant’s Michigan State Spartans.
That domination included 15 points, ten rebounds and seven blocked shots.
More so, Harris affected the Spartans team has they time after time altered their shots around the basket forcing shots banging off the rim.
Purdue on the other hand got control of the game early behind the aforementioned Harris and Fort Wayne Junior Karissa McLaughlin.

Sharon Versyp’s Boilers led at every break 20-11, 37-26, 53-38 and the final tally of 72 to 63.
McLaughlin led Purdue with 17 followed by both Dominique Oden and Harris with 15 and Thies, Senegal’s 6-4, Junior Fatou Diagne with 11 points and six boards.

Michigan State was led by both Owing Mills, Maryland, Sophomore Nia Clouden and Senior Shay Colley’s 14. Adding support were Grosse Point, Michigan Freshman Julie Ayrault 12 points and East Lansing, Michigan Senior Taryn McCutcheon with 10.

Purdue moves on to Friday’s Noon Game against top seeded Maryland.
