COLUMBUS, Ohio – After more than a week without a game, Ohio State caught its legs in the second quarter vs. Purdue and ran away for a 100-85 victory.

The Buckeyes improve to 13-3 on the season and are now 9-3 in the Big Ten while Purdue falls to 6-12 and 3-11.

Ohio State shot 58.2 percent for the game and hit the 100 mark for the third time this season.

Dorka Juhasz notched her sixth consecutive double-double with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds. That is the longest streak by a Buckeye since 2007 and she is now just the fourth Buckeye with a double-double streak of six or more games.

Jacy Sheldon scored 19 points and dished-out a career-high seven assists. Braxtin Miller was 6-of-8 shooting and finished with 15 points. Aaliyah Patty was the fourth Buckeye in double figures as she was 2-of-3 from long range and had 12 points.

Freshman Kateri Poole made her first collegiate start and had a solid game. She finished with nine points and a season-high seven assists.

The Buckeyes used an 18-0 run to turn around a four-point deficit early in the second quarter and never looked back. The run extended to as much as 26-5 and the Buckeyes led 49-32 late in the quarter.

Purdue hung around in the third quarter by shooting over 50 percent and eventually cut the lead down to eight points. The Buckeyes finally put the game away at the start of the fourth quarter. After missing its first two attempts, Ohio State made 10 consecutive shots over an almost six-minute span to open up a 25point lead.

The hit the road this Sunday for a big matchup with their rivals from the state of north. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and ESPN 2 will have the coverage.
