Purdue on the other hand used the Cards non stop ability to provide turnovers, including three fumbles, two of which were lengths away from the goal line to put up a heroic challenge. They were also helped out with the Cards being whistled for ten (10) false starts.
New Boilermaker Head Football Coach Jeff Brohm had his team engaged from the start to finish and had the faithful on their feet and cheering on the effort.

Brohm inherits a program, that well to tell the truth, hasn’t been very good for almost ten years under two previous inept coaches.

Brohm’s main task is keeping his key players on the field throughout this season while he and his staff build the program through top flight recruits and build quality back-ups.
Purdue got solid efforts from 6’4 Junior, Cole Herdman, Leeburg, Virginia, 6’5 Sophomore, Brycen Hopkins, Nashville, Tennessee, 5’11, Red-shirt Freshman, Jackson Anthrop, Lafayette, Indiana, 5’7 Junior, D J Knox, Fairburn, Georgia, 6’2 5th year Senior, Danny Ezechukwu, Lithonia, Georgia and 6’2 Senior, JaWhaun Bentley, Glenarden, Maryland.
