Hawkeyes’ Megan Gustafson, Wolverines’ Naz Hillmon and Huskers’ Sam Haiby are this week’s honorees

• Averaged 28.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 blocks per game with a .750 field goal percentage and a double-double as No. 13/12 Iowa split two Big Ten games last week
• Finished with a game-high 30 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks, as well as her 20th double-double of the season, in Sunday’s win at Penn State
• Registered 27 points (on 11-of-14 shooting), nine rebounds and four blocks in the Hawkeyes’ loss at Michigan on Feb. 1
• Chosen as an Academic All-Big Ten recipient in 2017-18

Purdue’s Carsen Edwards collects fifth Player of the Week honor of career;
Iowa’s Joe Wieskamp named Freshman of the Week for second time

Carsen Edwards, Purdue
G – Jr. – 6-1 – Atascocita, Texas – Atascocita High School – Major: Organizational Leadership and Supervision
- Averaged 27.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals in a 2-0 week for the Boilermakers
- Notched his fifth 30-point game of the season with a 38-point outing at Penn State
- Converted 8-of-15 from 3-point range against Penn State to tie a Purdue record for made 3-pointers in a game
- Added 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in a victory over Minnesota
- Has scored in double-figures in 42 consecutive games
- Leads Big Ten in scoring at 24.5 ppg, which is fifth in the nation
- Earns the fifth Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career, and third this season
- Joins Glenn Robinson (seven), Brad Miller (six) and Caleb Swanigan (six) as the only Boilermakers to earn five or more Big Ten Player of the Week honors in a career

- Tallied 16 points, seven rebounds, five steals and two assists in helping Iowa to a 74-59 victory over No. 5 Michigan
- Became fourth freshman in the last five years to register at least 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals against a nationally-ranked opponent along with LSU’s Ben Simmons, NC State’s Dennis Smith Jr., and Pitt’s Trey McGowens
- Victory over Michigan marked the Hawkeyes’ fourth win over a ranked team this season and highest win over a ranked foe since beating No. 4 Michigan State on Jan. 14, 2016
- Earns his second Freshman of the Week honor, and second in three weeks
