GOLF’S SECOND DAY AT BAY POINT CLASSIC CANCELED

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Due to heavy rains and severe weather in the area, the Indiana State golf team is heading home without playing its final round at the Bay Point Classic.
The Sycamores shaved six strokes off their score from round one to round two (344-338) in the opening day of their first tournament action in a little over 11 months.
Junior Lauren Green led the Sycamores with a 160 (77-83), finishing in a tie for 17th on the leaderboard.
Indiana State returns to play Feb. 28 – March 2 in the nation’s largest collegiate golf tournament, the Kiawah Island Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
