UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State true freshman running back Keyvone Lee has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Lee is Penn State’s first Freshman of the Week since Jayson Oweh picked up the honor last season on Oct. 28, 2019.
Lee finished with a career-high 134 yards to go along with a touchdown in the Penn State’s 27-17 victory at Michigan on Saturday. It marked the most rushing yards by a Penn State freshman since Saquon Barkley’s 194 yards at Ohio State in 2015.
The Nittany Lions head to Rutgers this Saturday for a noon kickoff. The game will be televised on either FS1 or Big Ten Network.
The 2020 Penn State Football Season is presented by PSECU.
