Men’s Basketball Plays Nebraska Wednesday in Big Ten Tournament

No. 11 seed Nittany Lions and No. 14 seed Huskers Set for Late Game on First Day

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Penn State men’s basketball team (10-13, 7-12) tied for 10th in the Big Ten Conference and received the No. 11 seed and will play No. 14 seed Nebraska (7-19, 3-16) in the late game in first-round action of the 2021 Big Ten Conference Tournament on Wednesday, March 10. Big Ten Network will have the broadcast of the game from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The game will tip off 25 minutes after the conclusion of game one between No. 12 seed Northwestern and No. 13 seed Minnesota.

Penn State and Nebraska split their meetings this season with both teams winning away from home. PSU won the meeting in Lincoln 86-83 (2/23/2021) while the Huskers escaped the Bryce Jordan Center with a 62-61 win (2/14/2021). The Nittany Lions own a 12-10 advantage in the series and are 2-0 in Big Ten Tournament meetings against the Huskers.

The Big Ten Network will televise the tournament’s first 10 games, with coverage spanning the first round of the tournament through the quarterfinals. CBS Sports will once again broadcast the semifinals and final to a national audience on the CBS Television Network.

CBS Sports will serve as a tournament broadcast partner for the 24th consecutive year and is set to air the semifinals and final on Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14.

All BTN on-air games can be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices through the FOX Sports App, while the CBS Sports broadcasts will also be available to stream live on Paramount+.
