The Wolverines did not take their foot off the gas in the third quarter. Indiana had five turnovers on offense and after an offensive coordinator change with Rod Carey replacing Walt Bell during the bye week, the Hoosiers looked like a team that was starting to click on offense and defense making stops in the first quarter. That was before the number two Excel H Sports ranked team in the nation woke up and made this game what most expected was a blowout win in favor of the maize and blue.
