QB – Julian Sayin

Ohio State

Ohio State freshman quarterback Julian Sayin earned the Shaun Alexander Freshman Player of the Week honor after an outstanding performance in the Buckeyes’ 34-0 victory over Wisconsin. Sayin was nearly flawless, completing 36 of 42 passes (85.7%) for 393 yards and 4 touchdowns, finishing with an impressive 195.7 passer rating. Sayin showed confidence and control all game long, picking apart Wisconsin’s defense and keeping the Buckeyes’ offense rolling.
