NC State running back Jayden “Duke” Scott has been named the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Week following a breakout performance in the Wolfpack’s upset win over Georgia Tech. Scott powered the offense with a season-high 196 rushing yards on 24 carries, averaging an impressive 8 yards per attempt and getting 1 touchdown.

His standout effort helped lift NC State past the Yellow Jackets and showcased his capability to be an asset to the Wolfpack offense. Scott’s performance was a key piece in the win and proves he is a rising star to watch as the season continues.
