Coach Bob Mattix is a longtime coach from Region 1. Coach Mattix spent his coaching career at Portage, Hobart, Crown Point, Michigan City, Homewood Flossmoor, Wabash and West Central High Schools as well as Valparaiso University.
To honor our Hall of Fame Coach/Teacher/Dad/Husband/Friend and Mentor, Bob “Bubba” Mattix, we will be turning our stadium lights on at 7pm (Kick off time) on Friday Feb. 11. We are hoping other high Schools will join us in this worthwhile endeavor.
