Ohio State, 21-11, had the same intentions but this time as a underdog and yes, the Cinderella slipper firmly on their feet.

Ohio State and Maryland went toe to toe in the first quarter as both teams traded baskets and it didn’t end until the quarter break with the Buckeyes up 22 to 20.

Ohio State’s biggest lead of the game happened during the quarter when they achieved a five point cushion before the Terrapins came rushing back to close the gap.

From that point forward Maryland would open a lead they would never surrender.

Maryland outscored Ohio State in the second quarter with a 24 to 13 output.

Maryland would extend their lead throughout until the margin reached 22 at 1:30 in the fourth quarter.
