Penn State sends Indiana back to Bloomington with loss

Penn State survived an Indiana press that cut the lead from double digits to a single point.
Jaylen Pickett, first team All-B1G Ten was simply a force today as the scored 28 points on nine of nineteen shots from the floor to go along with nine out ten free throws and handed out four assists to go along with his eight boards.

Pickett had zero turnovers in 37 minutes of floor time.
Seth Lundy hit huge free throws down the stretch with critical free throws to maintain the Nittany Lion lead.

For the game, Lundy game scored 16 points and eight of eight free throws. Lundy also managed six rebounds.
Andrew Funk, while scoring only nine points buried a three pointer from NBA deep to turn the lead back to doubl digits.
Kebba Njie scored six points and had a team high nine rebounds and held Jackson-Davis to only two points at the break.
Penn State shot 40.4% percent from the floor, tallied 38 team rebounds and handed out eleven assists.
Trayce Jackson Davis led Indiana with 24 points on eleven of fourteen shooting, 10 rebounds and passed out seven assists. TJD had zero turnovers in 37 minutes of floor action.

Tamar Bates gave Indiana spark off the bench with 14 points on his six of twelve shots.

Race Thompson was the other Hoosier who scored in double digits with ten.
Indiana his 43% percent from the floor, grabbed 37 rebounds and recorded 20 assists for the game.
Penn State moves on to play Purdue for the B1G Ten Men’s basketball championship presented by TIAA.
