TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Iowa made Big Ten Tournament history by shattering the single–game points record of 97 (set by Maryland
vs. Nebraska on March 11, 2016).
• Iowa’s 36–point margin of victory is the largest in Big Ten Tournament history, surpassing Illinois’ 33–point
win (85–52) over Nebraska in a first–round game on March 9, 2016.
• Iowa shot 19–for–29 (.655) from behind the arc, setting a new Big Ten Tournament record for three–point
field goals in a single game. (Previous: 14 by Illinois, twice — March 9, 2016 vs. Minnesota and Feb. 28,
2018, vs. Iowa). The 19 treys were also one shy of the Big Ten record for any game, set on three occasions
(most recently by Iowa earlier this year against Alabama State).
• Iowa’s .655 three–point shooting percentage Thursday ranks third in Big Ten Tournament history for a single
game, with a minimum of nine attempts (the tournament record of .667 was set twice — Northwestern
made 6–of–9 vs. Michigan State on March 5, 1999, and MSU did likewise vs. Wisconsin on March 10, 2012).
• Iowa’s 43 made field goals are a Big Ten Tournament record, topping the old mark of 37 by Ohio State
against Purdue on March 9, 2012.
IOWA TEAM NOTES

Northwestern on Feb. 9, 1995. It’s the fifth time this season Iowa has finished north of 100 points in a single

#14 Minnesota scored in entirety of their first–round game Wednesday night (PSU won 60–51).
• First–Team All–Big Ten selection Keegan Murray scored 26 points in just 21 minutes on the court Thursday,
which was his 23rd game this season with 20+ points.
